Discourse 8 | The Movement of Spirit is Forward
‘Of all the people who followed the Christ during his journey on this earth, only a handful were chosen to receive the Spirit for future work. Only they received the guidance, the strength, the stamina to continue in the face of persecution, pain, misunderstanding and even death.’ In this address Rev Mario explores what enabled the disciples to be baptized with spirit and fire. He emphasises trust and surrender as the vital precursors to ‘receiving the Holy Spirit’. (June 1987)
