Second Meditation for the Holy Week
by Rev Mario Schoenmaker
In his last Easter, and over three nights, Rev Mario led those present into the spiritual mood of Holy Week. Using the passion story from the Gospel of St Matthew he contemplated, in profoundly inspirational talks, the implications of the Easter event for the world and for each of us. This is the second of the three meditations.

In this meditation, Rev Mario speaks further about the new etheric organ that is developing within us and expressed through the voice. This is connected with changes to the seven spiritual centres within us, and with the ability to love with the mind and think with the heart.
This will be accompanied by the re-emergence of memories of past lives which may have devastating effects on some portions of the population. These are all signs of consciousness moving from the head to the heart.
Mario’s focus turns to the events in the Garden of Gethsemane and in particular the prophecy of Peter’s denial. He speaks of the willingness of spirit and the weakness of the flesh, and about the implications of breaking vows and promises which comes from not loving with the head. He speaks of Peter, James and John who could not stay awake and watch with him as he prayed to the Father.
He sees the agony in the garden and our own Gethsemanes to be in many ways an act of unifying and harmonising with the earth in order to be able to penetrate it and give of our substance, as Christ later gave of his blood.
This session concludes with a visualisation. Rev Mario speaks from his spiritual perception of the presence of Christ in this gathering, standing with us, harmonising heaven and earth.
