In the spiritual season of St John’s Tide, we are reminded that in the second part of the cycle of the spiritual year new ways of being, relating, expressing and acting are required of us – if we are to fulfil the promise and blessing the cycle of the spiritual year has so far bestowed upon us.
We have received the spirit of sonship, it has been given — but have we accepted, embraced, embodied and enacted this?
Christ bequeathing and bestowing his spirit upon us – and our embracing, embodying and enacting this – not only nurtures our individuality and empowers us. It makes us sons of God, fellow heirs to an even greater spiritual inheritance with Christ.
Accepting our divine inheritance – acting with the power, dynamism, authority and ability it bestows – the power of Christ’s living presence is magnified here in the earth and streams into the heavens. Our growing Christedness works collaboratively, collegially with the Christ Spirit raising up all creation to fulfil its divine potential.
