This booklet contains the transcript of the dedication of 2023. It includes a farewell to 2022, an introduction to the new focus on the Trinity, a celebration of the Agapē and the prayer of dedication for the new year ahead.
This spiritual focus asks us to go beyond what is immediately apparent and perceive the other dimensions involved – the within, beyond and behind. The effect of this is to generate greater space and restfulness within, and this is well pictured in the triangle, a common symbol of the Trinity, for it is a strong and restful shape. Developing a threefold awareness lifts us out of unhelpful dualities to come to a fuller picture of the purposes at work. To develop our awareness of the trinity of being is therefore a healing work. It will counteract our aloneness and singularity, and also the material outlook we are so subject to. Focusing on the three in one and one in three helps us balance and care for our whole being.
