We are living in the Age of Michael the Archangel, the era when the will faculty of our soul is being developed, the time when what we know must be translated into acts of goodness.
Christ said that he did not come to bring peace but a sword. He did not come to make our lives more comfortable. He came so that we could make a decision and a commitment and express this with determination. He came so that we could become individuals in the true and spiritual sense of the word. That involves the will – again and again. When we wilfully direct our consciousness to the highest, clarity of vision and acts of real goodness are the result. The sword of our being can arise and form a strong connection between the heavenly ideal and the earthly expression.
