Shine Out the Light that is Within You | eBOOK
Rev Robert John
A reflection on light ... light shining from the heart to illuminate the darkness of the world.
Christ – in his self-assurance, confident in his abiding relationship with the Father (the Source of All Being), and resolute in fulfilling his divine purpose – proclaims himself to be the light of the world. The true light that enlightens everyone has come into the world. The great I AM is the light of the world. The light now shines from within.
It is when we dare to step into the light that our true nature is revealed, tested, affirmed. It is when we dare to step into the light that we come to know ourselves more fully, and others can come to know us too. The light had shone from an external source now shone from an inner source in Christ incarnate. And now that light must come to shine within us and from us too.
This address was a given during a Mass celebration the 20th anniversary of nine priests ordained to the priesthood according to the Order of Melchizedek. These nine souls dared to step into Christ’s light. To be seen. To see and know more of themselves. And to their light, more light, greater light was added.
