The Spiritual Work of Praying for the Souls in Spirit
Through this collection of addresses given by Rev Mario, Rev Antoinette and Rev Robert, we enter into the mood of November and gain a real insight into the possibilities offered to us at this time when the spiritual year is drawing to a close and a new year is already making its presence felt. It is strong time of communion with the spirit. We are urged to lift our gaze higher.
In The Spiritual Host surrounding Christ, Rev Mario speaks of the etheric risen Christ appearing together with the souls in spirit and urges us to rise up to that etheric level where they may be perceived.
In The Importance of the Feasts of All Souls and All Saints, knowledge of the journey of the soul in spirit is spoken of as a gift from the Gods, a gift that should be nurtured and strengthened through active prayer. Rev Mario speaks of Christ’s intercession to free the souls imprisoned in spirit and invites us to join Christ’s freemaking work through praying for the souls who need the light of Christ and freedom of consciousness.
In Working with the Spiritual Worlds, Rev Mario encourages us to attain a state of stillness and peace of mind if we would be effective in spirit. Where activity and work are how things get done on the earth, in the heavens stillness and waiting are how things are brought into being.
In Communion with the Household of God, Rev Antoinette asks ‘Can we develop a relationship with those we never knew on earth? And can we change our relationship with those we did know?’ These two questions are explored against the backdrop of the interdependency between the citizens of the heavens and the earth.
In The Conversation with Spirit in November, December and January, Rev Robert outlines the spiritual workings and possibilities of each of these months and gives a focus for our prayers and meditations in this spirit-filled time.
