The Will Be Done

An exploration of the Lord's Prayer

And Jesus said,
And when you pray, … pray then like this:

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts,
as we have forgiven our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

You are invited to join an ongoing, regular small monthly gathering to share your understandings, experiences and insights into the Lord’s Prayer and to explore and reflect together on its deeper meaning.

• What does the Lord’s Prayer mean to you personally? 
• What ways do you work with the Lord’s Prayer, how does it inspire you, and expand your capabilities? What do you receive and from this what do you give? 
• How do you see and experience the Lord’s Prayer working in the world? 
• What are ways we can work with the Lord’s Prayer now and in the future? 

​With much to reflect upon and explore in this most sacred prayer, within and around us, each meeting can include an agape, meditation, sharing of music, writings, musings … the gifts of The Lord’s Prayer are many and plentiful.

The group will meet monthly over Zoom, from February through to November, on a Thursday  evening at 7.30pm AEST. The meetings will last between an hour and an hour and a half and may include an agapē. The role of leader will rotate among group members. A small donation is asked to offset the zoom account costs of Rosa Veritas. The group will be limited to a maximum of 10 people.​

A short initial meeting with everyone interested in being part of this group will be held in late January, Thursday 23rd at 7.30pm AEST, to work out the finer details of how we can explore and experience this prayer together.
