ADVENT SUNDAY COSMIC MASS Rev Robert John from Langwarrin, VIC Europe 8am CET | WA 3pm | SA 5.30pm | NSW/VIC 6pm | NZ 8pm In the four weeks prior to Christmas the angels draw closer to this earth in preparation for a new flow of the Christ life into the world. During this time, we prepare our souls through meditation, quiet reflection and song. The Mass is ‘cosmic’ because it is celebrated not only for the people present, but with and on behalf of the universe. Christ’s sacrifice was for every human soul, so everyone – regardless of age, gender, race or creed – is welcome to participate and receive the sacred elements of bread and wine. Participating of holy communion has an uplifting and strengthening effect for all who are working to realise the Christ within. As is usual for all services, candlelight and flowers will enhance with spiritual atmosphere. Please have ready a consecrated host, small bread roll or piece of bread and also a small glass or chalice of port, wine or fruit juice. Audio / Muting During the Service Please ensure you keep your microphone muted throughout the service, unless you are specifically asked to unmute by the celebrant.
