ROSE SUNDAY COSMIC MASS Rev Antoinette Schoenmaker from Coffs Harbour, NSW FIRST SUNDAY IN LENT Europe 8am CET | WA 3pm | SA 5.30pm | NSW/VIC 6pm AEDT | NZ 8pm LENT: In the forty days prior to Easter Sunday, we prepare ourselves to gain a deeper experience of the event of Golgotha and to unfold a greater understanding of the effect of the death and resurrection of Christ on each individual, this world, and the cosmos. This is the season of Lent. ROSE SUNDAY: The fully opened rose is a symbol of our fully realised spiritual humanity. This festival celebrates the development of the I AM, or true individuality, within each person until such day as this is fully realised. During the Mass, each person is invited to place a rose upon the altar symbolising their love for this divinity within them, and their dedication to its full expression. Bring a rose with you to this service. As we cannot place our roses on the same altar, when during the mass you are invited to offer the rose please place it in a vase, preferably so it is visible on screen. We will then bless the roses.
