Founders' Day & Thanksgiving
The first Sunday in August is the day when we give thanks for the earthly Founders of Rosa Veritas and reflect on how the gifts they have given us continue to be built on through the mighty workings of the Christ spirit.

During this service we will also be celebrating Rev Antoinette Schoenmaker's 30 years of service as a Meritus. Antoinette was elevated to the Office of Meritus on Founders' Day 1995. Members can view a video of the elevation service HERE.
At the conclusion of this Mass, following the postlude, we will screen a video celebration of this anniversary. We invite you to stay online and share this celebration with us.
You may like to have some refreshments close at hand for during the celebration.
The Mystical Cosmic Mass is Christ’s sacred meal with us. Not only is it an offering and consecration of the bread and wine, it is also the offering and consecration of self. It is celebrated for those present, and with and on behalf of the universe. All are welcome to participate.
Sharing in these mysteries assists with aligning the small I AM within us with the great I AM of the cosmos, and the soul with the hierarchies above and below us. It is a recognition and embracing of the nine spiritual realms as well as an acceptance of our role and responsibility towards the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms. The whole creation is involved.
The Mass is mystical and cosmic, inclusive, prayerful, evoking a closer relationship with the divine.
As is usual for all services, candlelight and flowers will enhance the spiritual atmosphere.
Please have close at hand a consecrated host, small bread roll or piece of bread and also a small glass or chalice of port, wine or fruit juice so you can join with the celebrant in the Offering and Consecration.
NEW! We are trialling producing two versions of the song sheet:
- the usual 'A4 print' two-column version that is probably best for those who print the song sheet; and
- a new 'mobile devices' continuous single-column version for those who access the songs and responses on their phone or tablet.
Use whichever version works for you. The content in both versions is exactly the same.
